Research abstract

In response to this need, Stratom proposes a feasibility study of two cargo mover concepts that we have developed for this topic to determine the optimal solution for the Concept of Operations (CONOPS) requirements and user needs. This work will include the concept development & evaluation, architectural design, and feasibility analysis of a novel cargo loader system. Stratom will conduct regular meetings with the customer including a mid-point concept design review and a final architectural design review. Stratom will perform a technical feasibility analysis based on the defined requirements from the customer, cargo, aircraft, and operating environment. We will deliver a recommended vehicle design in a final technical report to document the completed progress toward the presented objectives at the end of this Period of Performance. Stratom’s team members are highly experienced with designing and building robust cargo handing equipment for the DoD with advanced electro-mechanical systems and sound engineering practices. Our team has a proven ability to work well with stakeholders to understand novel CONOPS which lead to the development of accurate and robust requirements. Our familiarity with the balance between capabilities, weight, and aircraft transportability sets us apart from other proposers.
