Research abstract

EmergingDx Inc in collaboration with university partners will develop a novel handheld diagnostic platform. It will be an automated, multiplexed, quantitative molecular biosensor platform for rapid detection of miRNA and free-floating miRNA panel from single input of minimally invasive biomatrix (whole blood as a single input volume). The platform will be capable of differentiating between exosome-derived and cell-free miRNAs as well as be low power (battery operated or wall power) with wireless secure data transfer features. The platform will have high multiplexing capability and be flexible to adapt new miRNA panels on demand.Ā
