Research abstract
(more detail provided in supporting slide deck) As a one-stop-shop solution with a structured, active conversation repository, including knowledge tracking, Lattus promotes relationship continuity and can be used for new team member onboarding, manager 1:1s, professional development, and to promote social, cultural, and behavioral understanding across all teams in the USAF which translates into higher job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and employee retention. Our technology coupled with educational programming will help the USAF increase internal engagement to improve talent attraction and retention. In a highly-competitive labor market, the Department of the Air Force (DAF) faces record-high levels of competition as it battles the commercial sector for talent. Lattus provides an innovative technology to help DAF, AFWERX, and SpaceWERX improve retention of US Air Force and/or US Space Force personnel. Lattus enables a force multiplier around people development; a tool to keep pace with technological change. This solution can add value to stakeholders in leadership positions, human resources, DEI, and talent acquisition. We propose the Lattus Human System Mentoring Solution (Lattus) for this Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I Open Call. Lattus is the one-stop shop employee connection mentoring platform for cultivating culture and meaningful engagement through conversations. Our software facilitates and analyzes conversations through data-driven metrics to better inform leaders on professional development strategies and talent decision-making. Successful implementation of Lattus leads to higher mentor/mentee engagement, improved performance, and a revitalized sense of community and belonging. Lattus empowers organizations and encourages growth and innovation through accountability for all employees. Lattus exists to help organizations attract, engage, and retain top talent. Lattus is generating revenue. Technical Merit: Lattus has proven that there is a need for this technology in the Army (active contract) and this proposal is focused on validating the product-market fit with the Air Force and Space Force stakeholders. Lattus has added educational programming to the implementation process and has released new features to add more value. This effort will set the scene for the AI/ML research that has been started with CMU in Pittsburgh. Team: With 120+ years of combined experience, Team Lattus is comprised of Lattus, BES Solutions, Inc. (BES), Catalyst Campus, and Reverse-iT Mentoring (RiM) and has the relevant skills, experience, and innovation to deliver the right solution. This solution is needed now more than ever with remote work on the rise, employee engagement at an all time low, burnout higher than ever, and teams having difficult times attracting and retaining talent. Lattus has proven that an increase in intentional engagement leads to improved retention and an enhanced ability to attract top talent to organizations
