Research abstract

Building on our Phase I SBIR effort, InnoH2O will continue development and the build of an Expeditionary Gray Water Reuse test asset system.  We will use the operational characteristics, discovered in our Phase I effort through our interaction with our Customer and End-User, to design the unit to be robust, energy efficient and highly mobile.  We will then build a unit based on a 10-foot CONEX/463L pallet configuration for ease of deployment and transfer. This prototype unit will allow us to perform extensive testing of the system in operational conditions to validate our process design and to validate system water quality performance meeting or exceeding TB-MED-577, Chapter 9.  We will also validate the system physical size and weight while providing a solution that meets a deployable configuration for activities downrange.  Water quality and energy consumption will be validated during our testing program along with cold-weather capabilities.  We will summarize our results in a test report and in a Final Report along with any updates/upgrades that we may during the course of our project.
