Research abstract

Fragmented risk management and security remains a major challenge for the AF, the DoD and we need to evolve. Alpha Recon is poised to provide the AF with its state-of-the-art, Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS), Technology Readiness Level (TRL-9) product, the Omniscient System. Omniscient follows a strategic to tactical Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) approach. An open source, integrated, data driven solution that simultaneously collects, monitors and analyzes hundreds of different threat types (including cyber) and provides advanced analytics and machine learning derived risk insights, understanding, visualization, and reporting. With Omniscient, users can connect the threat dots, across domains, and strategically manage security and risk management programs with emerging data science and AI enabled decision making support. Omniscient offers a unified and data science driven understanding of risk exposure across domains, time, and space. Omniscient is an intelligent web and mobile risk and security management system that helps the war fighter better understand and visualize emerging threats (including cyber) and manage programs with machine learning and artificial intelligence generated insights from strategic to tactical. Omniscient provides open source, multi-sensor collection (both PAI, sensor, and internal), capable of threading data points to form near real time threat assessments and risk assessments of assets, facilities, and operations before and during missions. Omniscient helps customers gain unsurpassed situational awareness, “put together the dots,” and predict emerging threats and exposure across strategic and operational domains. As a stand-alone platform or as a C2 node of a larger system, Omniscient solves the problems of too much noise, siloed data systems, and lack of predictable insights. This permits AF personnel to identify early indicators of threats and make optimal decisions. Omniscient provides a data science driven system for:   Cross silo, cross functional asset protection and real time situational awareness: Our war fighters are often caught in the gap between classified systems and archived, legacy threat assessments. We need better. Multiple source and sensor integration: Omniscient uses a combination of EDGE analysis, OSINT, APIs, and capacity for variable sensors to combine robust data, with fast analysis, and intelligent analytics. Analytics and Decision-making Support: Advanced analytics, ML/AI modeling, trends, and statistics that supports intelligence on known emerging threats, illuminates hidden insights in data, and predicts threat and risk dynamics. Visualizations for ease of understanding.
