Research abstract

Irys proposes the use of a digital tool, the IMDS Interfacing Mobile Application, to create a solution that will provide Air Force maintenance operators with the ability to enter the required work order actions, materials, and equipment information quickly and easily from their mobile device. The mobile app will include a checklist system, which will allow maintenance operators to select the name/title of actions completed and the materials and equipment used for the work order. Irys has extensive experience working with government and commercial sectors and has successfully launched platforms similar to the proposed project in multiple cities and communities. We believe the use of the proposed solution will benefit the Air Force end user by simplifying the work order input process, capturing the full scope of the maintenance, and allowing for work to be properly prioritized, leading to increased efficiency and savings in time and money.
