Research abstract

Securing our nations weapon systems is essential to the success of our military.  In recent years, cyber securing these systems has become a dire need and priority for the Department of Defense (DoD).  The main objective for Knowledge Based Systems, Inc. (KBSI) for this project is to develop the Cyber Knowledge Management with Secure Information Transfer for Weapons Systems (CKURITY) system to enable weapons systems cybersecurity professionals to securely capture, analyze, and disseminate platform cyber data at multiple levels of security. Phase II will leverage and extend the Phase I prototype, resulting in the design and implementation of a hardened and enhanced CKURITY system that provides powerful tools for weapon system cyber experts to share data, automatically analyze data across multiple platforms, and identify key commonalities among weapons system, all while maintaining classification and user permission restrictions.
