Research abstract

The Air Force has an immediate need for replacement of obsolete Hardware Modeling Systems. These systems are critical to the successful development and support of test programs at numerous Department of Defense locations. Integrated Test Solutions will develop a full system solution utilizing commercially available digital test hardware to replace the existing proprietary modeler. The ITS Hardware Modeler will include an updated communications driver over Ethernet between LASAR Simulation and MDLMAN capable of supporting three underlying digital subsystem, Di-Series, eDigital 6020A or FPGA hardware emulator. This approach offers the necessary backwards compatibility for existing test program sets, with the flexibility of future support for increasing complex circuit card designs.
