Research abstract

Imagize is proposing to build and deliver a fieldable high-performance BAARS solution which provides uncompromising nigh vision and multi-spectral imaging capabilities as well as a platform for enhanced utilization of available battlefield network data through high quality augmented reality representations. The system is designed to operate in connection with the Battlefield Airmen Operations (BAO) Kit and supports presenting information from various data links. Data from these sources can be presented on the high visual acuity BAARS display as data overlays as well as augmented content presented in the context of the operator’s physical environment. The system enables evaluating the effects of augmented display and enhanced digital night vision for fast and reliable decision making in forward air operations, C4ISR, digitally aided close air support, remotely piloted vehicle control, aircraft and ground communications, navigation, target detection and identification.
