Research abstract
The ultimate goal is to print low cost, high performing, curved PAAs for UAVs. .The opportunity to enhance the performance of the PAAs by making them curved, reducing their weight, increasing their ruggedness and doing this at a reduced cost is a combination that requires more effort and investment This allows a lower profile approach and using the array as part of the structure reduces the weight of the PAA.Complex structures and improved performance always come at a cost. The more complex, the more expensive and the better the performance, the more expensive. Using the natural advantages of 3D printing, we will achieve improved RF performance, make it low profile and more rugged; this process lowers the overall cost. This is due to the fully automated, precise build that our systems can achieve
