Research abstract

The Dual Mode Propulsion Module Technology for Space Control concept utilizes an innovative approach to rocketry in which a single thruster can function as a solid rocket motor or as an electric thruster. The resulting system is highly flexible and hence able to perform a wide variety of space control missions. In this project, a full-scale thruster will be fabricated and experimentally demonstrated.
