Research abstract
Composabl is developing an AI Wargaming Agent to enhance Air University’s Chief Leadership Course (CLC) by providing goal-oriented, trainable AI agents capable of generating real-time, adaptive wargaming scenarios. Unlike traditional rule-based simulations or probabilistic LLMs, this AI agent will dynamically analyze battlefield conditions, model adversarial behaviors, and refine Courses of Action (CoAs) based on military doctrine and evolving threats. The system will integrate with multi-domain operational data sources, enabling flexible scenario generation, strategic decision support, and realistic training for future Air Force leaders. Built with secure, DoD-compliant deployment, the AI agent ensures data integrity and operational security while allowing instructors to interactively refine training objectives. This effort will deliver a scalable, high-fidelity wargaming solution, preparing Air Force personnel for complex, real-world conflicts against near-peer adversaries.
