Research abstract

This project aims to develop a highly precise, stable, and compact timing solution for advanced navigation and positioning systems. By integrating frequency combs with a certain architecture with graphene-based saturable absorbers and exotic-glass-fibers on a custom chip, the system achieves precision and stability. The design offers broad spectral coverage and superior environmental resilience. Its compact form factor and robust performance make it ideal for use in harsh environments, providing a reliable backup to GPS. The system's advanced control electronics and firmware ensure optimal functionality and easy integration into existing platforms. This project represents a significant advancement in timing technology, addressing critical needs in both military and commercial applications. Approved for Public Release | 25-MDA-12052 (27 Mar 25)
