Enhancing Battlespace Awareness Utilizing Multi-Payload SDA Satellites and Real-Time Command & Control

TURION shall develop, qualify, and launch two RPO-capable SDA Space Vehicles (SV) for LEO missions (SV1,2) and concurrently prepare a modified SV for a future GEO launch (SV3). These SVs will support the USSF by demonstrating real-time inspection, tracking, and threat assessment of adversarial space objects. The qualification and demonstrations of these SV will also enhance TURION’s mission operations and streamlined tasking ground segment developed during the Phase II effort. Advancing the combined space system will enhance US commercial and USSF capabilities by increasing space resiliency and expand US space industrial base while sufficiently reducing technological risk to transition the capabilities to a program of record. The technical milestones shall conclude with a GEO space vehicle prepared for launch including SDA payload developed by TURION, RPO capable payload developed by TEN ONE, chemical and electric propulsion systems, and in-space refueling interface.
