Research abstract

Rogue Space Systems and its research partner at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) propose the development of a predictive model that can predict hazardous ionic fluxes in outer-zone radiation belts, including in low earth (LEO) orbit at high-inclinations.  This model will initially be targeted to forecast hazards to up to 7 days in the future and include a confidence level of each ion flux probability estimate for various points in orbital space.  In addition, Rogue will provide a feasibility study related to methods of monetizing the predictive data in order to create a marketplace that will drive down prices and increase availability of such predictive data for the DoD and/or provide a cost-covering revenue stream to the DoD.
