Research abstract

Identification and Significance of the Problem or Opportunity The Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) A4 and the 96th Ops Group (OG) have identified a crucial national defense need in the realms of personnel vetting, foreign influence, and third-party risk management. This need arises from tangible gaps that negatively impact the security efficacy of USAF operations. To bridge these gaps, we propose a strategic adoption of innovative, technology-driven solutions throughout our processes, aligned with the Air Force's strategic directives and operational demands. Rapid, Effective Decision-Making: We plan to implement advanced tools capable of quick data analysis, enabling timely decisions concerning contractor dependability and security. Our initial project phase will concentrate on refining plans and mobilizing resources to support this aim, ensuring that the early research stages are firmly in line with enhancing decision-making speed and precision. Navigating Complexity and Unpredictability: We suggest developing systems proficient in handling complex data and preempting unforeseeable threats while maintaining force protection. Through stakeholder reviews, capability demonstrations, and iterative development cycles of Clearspeed'stechnology, we plan to customize our solutions to effectively address these intricate and unpredictable scenarios. Addressing Speed and Lethality of Threats: We aim to develop systems that not only detect but also predict potential threats rapidly and accurately. This will be accomplished through ongoing R&D discussions, capability prioritization, and feedback-driven development cycles, refining Clearspeed’stechnology to meet these challenges. Blue Sky: Clearspeed is set to revolutionize the Department of the Air Force (DAF) approach to security, readiness, and personnel assessments. Our project includes phases for MVP development, pilot feedback cycles, and enhancement iterations, ensuring that Clearspeed’s technology is continually adapted and refined to meet this forward-thinking vision.
