Research abstract

Numerica will apply emerging advances in Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop and prove a Concept Approach for a real-time battle management interface that integrates information from the complex battlespace environment to provide Commanders and support staff with actionable, explainable engagement decision support, to include courses of action, timelines, and cost-benefit assessment. The use of LLMs allows for a sustainable architecture that is easily adaptable to changing system requirements. An envisioned feedback path allows the Commander (or other user) to ensure the integration system meets user needs. Numerica is well-suited to deliver a successful product because of its previous experience in the application of LLMs, coupled with its extensive success in Battle Management in particular, and Air and Missile Defense in general.
