A Global Collection of Application Profiles for Detecting Hidden Threats in the Software Supply Chain

D&G will study the feasibility of making significant advancements in cybersecurity through the development of a Global Collection of Software Application Profiles (GCAP). This study will determine the feasibility of leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to further automate the software evaluation process. The intent is to enhance the speed, effectiveness, and relevance of cybersecurity measures for the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense systems. By creating a proactive and real-time system for assessing software applications and updates, the GCAP addresses the critical need for improved defenses against the sophistication of adversarial AI and other software infiltration sources, thereby increasing the integrity and security of defense systems.
