Research abstract

PacMar Technologies will complete a concept design for an amphibious vehicle (AV) that will carry a strike missile payload. The Navy Strike Missile (NSM) package and the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) will be explored as potential payload packages.Ā PacMar Technologies' 45 years of experience spans naval architecture, advanced materials and manufacturing, autonomy and data science, hydrodynamics, mechanical engineering, advanced textiles, electronics design, software development, control system design, and computer science. This Phase I SBIR would build off experience gained from the design and construction of multiple versions of the Ultra-Heavy Amphibious Connector (UHAC), the Unmanned Swarming Amphibious Craft (USAC), and the Unmanned Surface Mobility (AVUSM). Our experience designing amphibious platforms enables us to rapidly design a solution for the AV at a higher TRL for the Army.
