Research abstract

ĀThe Air ForceĀ acquisition vision is toĀ ōdeliver enduring world class capabilities to assure air, space and cyberspace dominance for the nation and our allies.ö But achieving this vision is becoming ever more difficult as the threat landscape evolves more rapidly and the military power of U.S. competitors becomes increasingly sophisticated, posing greater operational risk to U.S. forces. To stay ahead of the threat, the DAF will need to not only maintain current systems but also modernize its air and space forces. Yet the acquisition system continues to face long-standing problems that will challenge modernization goals, such as cost increases, schedule growth, and insufficient flexibility to meet dynamic needs. Challenges related to the development of complex RFPs, RFQs, RFOs, LPSs is one major source of these problems.ĀĀ City Innovate harnesses the power of generative AI to accelerate the development of complex procurement documents for state, local and federal government agencies, infusing a game-changing dynamism into a traditionally cumbersome process. Buyers can swiftly articulate requirements, frame statements of work, and craft detailed contract deliverables, all with mere keystrokes. Our goal in Phase 1 is to identify and partner with an Air Force stakeholder for the initial application of our technology to complex Air Force acquisitions.
