Research abstract

The Department of Defense (DoD) and its partners among the defense industrial base are developing cutting-edge hypersonic technology systems with a focus on compatible, upgradeable fuel options. While conventional fuels have been unable to overcome certain performance barriers associated with the high temperature environments of hypersonic missions, synthetic endothermic fuel resolves these challenges and accelerates the deployment of a complete hypersonic defense architecture.
