Research abstract

Traditional cybersecurity approaches focusing on IT cyber solutions such as firewalls, threat detection and continuous monitoring have proven insufficient in addressing cyber risks to weapons-systems, critical infrastructure, and Military IoT.  Mocana software works from the inside-out to protect mission-critical infrastructure, weapons platforms, and other operational technology (OT) from cyber exploitation and attack.  Our cyber protection solution addresses three key cyber risks:  device-based cyber-attacks (i.e. command and control of weapons systems); data integrity and assurance; and software supply-chain security and integrity.  Mocana proposes a pilot program for certain devices and systems to test Mocana’s end-to-end solution for tamper-resistant devices, trusted data and a secure the software supply chain.
