Research abstract

Lunar Resources, Inc. proposes to enhance the effectiveness and expand the deployment of high-power radio frequency (HPRF) counter-hypersonic missile defense payloads through the development of the Helix High-Power Pulsed Electromagnetic Microwave Power Supply (HEMPS). Designed specifically for counter-hypersonic missile defense systems, HEMPS will provide a low-cost, highly compact, and lightweight HPM power solution, replacing existing power supplies to improve engagement range, pulse repetition rate, and system efficiency for counter hypersonic HPM missile defense payloads while enabling multi-HPM missiles and smaller missile platforms to deploy HPM counter missile defense payloads.
