Research abstract

In response to TacSRT’s operational challenges, the proposed development of Danti’s Kernel Mesh framework offers a pathway to multi-environment analysis. Danti's core capability is already deployed on the Joint Commercial Operations (JCO) floor,  supporting combatant commands for TacSRT-related queries. By further developing and integrating Kernel Mesh, the 32+ active TacSRT users (a number that continues to grow) will gain access to automated kernel chaining workflows, enabling them to synthesize intelligence across multi-modal data sources with minimal manual intervention. Danti proposes an AI-powered Kernel Mesh model chaining solution to enhance the U.S. Space Force’s Tactical Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Tracking (TacSRT) program by addressing its critical need to automate multi-step information analysis across diverse data types. Through dynamic kernel orchestration, semantic search, and natural language processing (NLP), Danti’s solution enables space operators to rapidly synthesize complex operational planning products (OPPs) with minimal intervention. This 21-month effort focuses on integrating Kernel Mesh with TacSRT’s Global Data Marketplace (GDM) to enable seamless ingestion and multi-step processing of commercial and defense analytic models. Objective 1: Kernel Mesh Integration for TacSRTDescription: Expand and refine Kernel Mesh capabilities to automate workflows within TacSRT, supporting scalable multi-step, multi-source intelligence processing.Key Result: Successfully deployed Kernel Mesh into TacSRT operations. Objective 2: Dynamic Model Chaining FusionDescription: Implement an adaptive framework to orchestrate AI/ML models dynamically, enabling cross-domain data fusion for enhanced situational awareness and reconnaissance.Key Result: Attained automated model execution pipelines. Objective 3: Seamless Global Data Marketplace (GDM) Analytic IntegrationDescription: Ensure Kernel Mesh interfaces with GDM infrastructure through API integration, streamlining data acquisition from commercial and defense sources.Key Result: Established interoperable API connectivity.Danti’s Kernel Mesh solution will provide TacSRT with a scalable, AI-driven approach to multi-modal data processing, automated intelligence fusion, and seamless model integration, enhancing the U.S. Space Force’s ability to maintain tactical superiority in space-based surveillance and reconnaissance.
