Research abstract

Calnetix’s proposed solution is a modular, bi-directional, 3-phase, 4-wire inverter system designed to provide reliable export power for military hybrid and electric vehicle applications. The system is optimized for 350-800VDC input and supports a power output up to 60kW, making it ideal for integration into microgrids, combat vehicles, and other field-deployable power systems. Utilizing silicon carbide (SiC) technology, the inverter delivers high efficiency and power density while minimizing size and weight. A key feature of the design is modularity which allows for easy expansion and customization based on mission requirements. Modules such as sine wave filters, neutral leg generation, and pre-charge circuits can be added as needed. This approach reduces the base system complexity and cost.
