Research abstract

This proposal presents an innovative approach to automatically generate Domain Specific Models (DSMs) and ontological frameworks from technical documentation using artificial intelligence techniques. The methodology aims to streamline the complex process of domain modeling by extracting and structuring domain knowledge from existing technical documentation, creating both a surface-level DSM and a comprehensive ontology that captures concepts and their interrelationships. The proposed system will leverage natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to analyze domain-specific documentation, identify key concepts, relationships, and constraints, and transform these insights into formal models. Furthermore, the system will automatically generate machine-readable interface documentation in standard formats such as JSON and XML, facilitating seamless integration with existing tools and systems. This automated approach promises to significantly reduce the time and expertise required for domain modeling while maintaining consistency and accuracy in knowledge representation.
