Research abstract

The AIRIA STTR effort develops an AI/ML-based intelligence tool for detecting patterns of life and identifying anomalies in human behavior through passive monitoring of WiFi, Bluetooth, and other environmental signals. Current ISR and security methods struggle with tracking high-value targets and distinguishing between routine civilian activity and adversarial intent. Existing solutions require extensive manual analysis, leading to delays in intelligence processing and increased mission risk. This project will enhance Air Force cyber and ISR operations by providing an AI-driven system capable of autonomously identifying movement patterns, detecting deviations from normal behavior, and alerting operators to potential threats. AIRIA leverages existing wireless network activity to provide a persistent, real-time intelligence capability without requiring additional hardware infrastructure.Key advancements include AI-powered anomaly detection, real-time behavioral analysis, and integration into intelligence workflows for ISR and security operations. By automating movement tracking and threat identification, AIRIA improves intelligence accuracy, reduces analyst workload, and enhances decision-making for military and defense applications.
