Research abstract

Airia’s Phase 1 SBIR proposal aims to enhance its AI-powered anomaly detection platform for the U.S. Air Force (USAF). The platform will integrate 5G and Wi-Fi data to support real-time monitoring of personnel, assets, and operational environments. The key objective is to develop customized AI algorithms that enable anomaly detection, pattern of life monitoring, and enhanced situational awareness. This solution provides operators with real-time insights, enabling faster and more informed decision-making in dynamic military environments. Airia’s hardware-agnostic platform leverages existing IoT infrastructure and requires no additional sensors, making it easy to deploy across various Air Force installations and operational theaters. The proposed effort includes integrating the system with Air Force networks to facilitate seamless operational monitoring, threat identification, and decision support. The platform's AI-driven analytics are designed to enhance operational insights, enabling rapid detection and response to potential threats in contested or complex environments. With its ability to adapt to various operational settings, Airia will support critical Air Force imperatives, such as operational readiness and tactical superiority, while remaining compliant with data privacy regulations.
