Research abstract

This project will develop capability for large format MWIR detector arrays that have high sensitivity within a tailored narrow spectral bandwidth.  This will advance the Navy’s mission by enabling passive detection of narrowband optical emission at known spectral lines. This is in line with the Navy’s vision of persistent surveillance and their recent investments to enhance their electro-optic/infrared (EO-IR) technology portfolio.
