Research abstract

This project will develop capability for large format mid wave infrared (MWIR) detector arrays that have high sensitivity within a dynamically tunable narrow spectral bandwidth.Ā This will advance the NavyÆs mission by enabling passive detection of narrow band optical emission at known spectral lines. This is in line with the NavyÆs vision of persistent surveillance and their recent investments to enhance their electro-optic/infrared (EO-IR) technology at sea.
