The Small Business Concern (SBC) is bringing aáplatform-specificáIn-Transit Visibility (ITV) solutionáin support of the warfighter. ITV is defined as ôthe ability to track the identity, status, and location of DOD units, non-unit cargo (excluding bulk petroleum, oils, and lubricants), and passengers, patients, and personal property from origin to consignee or destination across the range of military operations.ö (JP 4-01.2) The specific problem set isálegacy solutions not providing theágranularity required to support the warfighter in a world where highly flexible, data-rich solutions are required. The SBC is testing an ISO standard shipping container ITV solution in Africa. The proposal is to further develop the existing solution to meet the needs of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and the Department of theá Air Force (DAF), and the developmentáof a predictive analytics platform to bring decision making to the source of information. We will also begin technical evaluation of the solutions with our proven team of engineers, supply chain professionals, technology development under FedRAMP, and operational experience in austere environments.
