Research abstract

Ultra High Solids (UHS) coating application is the backbone of US Navy corrosion prevention. Unique temperature, humidity, viscosity and pressure environments make agile UHS coating application a significant challenge. The proposed UHS Coating Application System (UCAS) enables unprecedented control of UHS primers and topcoat corrosion inhibitors.
