Research abstract

Overview The J3i SHAMEN Initiative is our Long-Range Strike Unmanned Aerial System (UAV) project designed to cover distances of nearly 2000 km. Our priority for SHAMEN focuses on operating within the Next generation Air Dominance (NGAD) U.S Air Force Operational Imperative 6 - Global Strike. Designed as a suicide drone, SHAMEN retains the ability to land and be reused. Engineered for cost effective mass production, we anticipate SHAMEN meeting any attritable cost metrics. It facilitates CONOPS against peer or near peer adversaries as described in both the DIU REPLICATOR program and the U.S Air Force Operational Imperatives. Technical Abstract A Long-Range Strike Unmanned Aerial System, the J3i SHAMEN is  designed to operate at distances of almost 2000kms. The flight system will be developed on the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), allowing integration with in-service systems such as the ATAK network or SATCOM for remote operations. A mesh networking capability will allow meshing with up to 99 other connected entities.
