Research abstract

The purpose of this project is to develop a high-pressure hydrogen generation, storage, and delivery solution. The project will also elevate the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of Noble Gas SystemsÆ conformable tank and system technologies by completing the design and validation of an 80kg, 700 bar hydrogen bulk storage system, and delivering 2 storage systems or subsequent demonstration. Because the system is based on readily available technologies, this storage solution will have a high initial TRL level, the ability to lift and deliver by helicopter, and be available to perform in-field demonstrations. This will allow for storage and transport onboard ships, or to remote areas. Certification is also planned to allow for shipment of the container fully charged with hydrogen. All of the safety and fire suppression targets will be met and fully integrated.ĀĀ
