Operationalizing Trustworthy AI for Mission Teams using LLMs and MLOPs

Air Force mission teams are looking to accelerate the adoption of trustworthy AI for weapons systems. DoD is looking to implement AI based capabilities in JADC2 via Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) to build and deploy Trusted AI to rapidly advance decision making capabilities. The complexity of the mission systemsŚincluding the development and testing of AI capabilitiesŚrequires end users to understand the interdependencies between various technologies like Software Libraries, Automation tools, Security tools, MLOps Orchestrators, Microservices etc. Without our intuitive interfaces, operators and warfighters will waste cycles testing and integrating AI into mission systems by trial and error. ENBUILD allows mission teams to deploy approved and Trusted AI, from scratch, within hours and to continually repeat and refine those capabilities as mission requirements evolve. Our proposal minimizes the cognitive load and simplifies Operationalizing Trustable AI using a templatized lifecycle approach.
