Zero Trust Security for IT Systems and OT Devices

Air Force and DoD organizations have inadequate security to protect OT (Operations Technology), Information Technology (IT), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and ICS (Industrial Control Systems). The United States Air Force faces several challenges with áAircraft IT systems and OT devices that traditional security practices are unable to address. Ľ Secure operations on complex and interconnected networks and systems.á Ľ The complexity of Air and Ground IT systems and OT devices can create potential weak points or vulnerabilities that adversaries could exploit.á Ľ Modern communications networks and data collection devices translate into new attack surfaces for cyber criminals. Ľ Secure communications devices and radar systems are critical for situational awareness and surveillance.á Ľ Current OT devices share networks with exposed network infrastructures - increasing probability of security breaches.á USAF must modernize Zero Trust security policies to protect aircraft OT devices and IT Systems from adversary attacks.á á To improve security with IT Systems and OT devices, ColorTokens will develop and test a ZeroTrust cybersecurity solution built upon the ColorTokens Zero Trust Security (CTZT) Platform. áKey Project Objectives are:á á 1. Objective 1 ľ Enhance Visibility for IT systems and OT devices á 2. áObjective 2 ľ Establish Zero Trust metrics for IT systems and OT devices á 3. áObjective 3 ľ Reduce IT and OT attack surface á 4. áObjective 4 ľ Reduce IT and OT blast radius á 5. áObjective 5 ľ Block and isolate IT and OT compromised devices.á á
