Research abstract

Across several states and thousands of square miles, ICBMs and bomber aircraft provide a critical component of Americaĺs strategic deterrent. Despite remarkable improvements in security system reliability and security video image quality over the years, legitimate cyber security concerns necessitate thousands of in-person responses to nuisance and false alarms by AFGSCĺs security personnel. Though DAF and AFGSC have invested millions in assessment and surveillance systems for nearly two decades, dedicated AFGSC Security Forces professionals annually drive 600,000+ miles, devote 30,000+ hours, and expend $1M+ responding to nuisance alarms in large part due to a justifiable lack of complete confidence that that their security system video feeds have not been hacked, tampered, or spoofed. PSGĺs patented Scene Authentication solution provides continuous verification that security system video is live, authenticated, and unmanipulated. Metadata authenticates that camera, that location, at that time, and proves the imagery sent is the true image ľ continuously verifying scene integrity in real-time through transmission, storage, and display. Scene Authentication will provide a >50% reduction in nuisance and false alarm responses and commensurate >50% reduction in Security Forces vehicle safety incidents Śallowing for more effective resource allocation, enhancing capability to respond to actual threats and improving overall safety.
