Modeling and Simulation Technologies Development for Combat System Integration and Certification

This Project will build and install a virtualized Aegis hardware and software environment at the SQQ-89 development lab. Virtualized Aegis Weapon Systems can be cost-effectively duplicated at each SQQ-89 development and integration site. This SW environment will provide the same virtualized execution environment at each site. Therefore, the cost of re-integrating updated SW at multiple locations is eliminated. The virtualized system will also provide a mature automated test and analysis environment using IDT’s Automated Test and Re-Test (ATRT) technology to provide every SQQ-89 tester/analyst the ability to execute and analyze results from a library of common tests which would be duplicated at all sites. Users from all sites and organizations will have the ability to instantly reproduce identical results, identify the root cause of faults, and regression test instantly as updates are applied.
